This year’s Cabot Trail Acoustic Festival is back in 2014 and festival organizers are excited to announce a couple new Maritime headliners. Nova Scotia blues rocker Charlie A’Court and PEI’s own lady of song Christine Campbell will kick off a main stage performance Sat August 23, 2014 and again on Sunday afternoon August 24, 2014.

There are many other local solo artists and bands that will round out the lineup this year including Decota McNamara, Jeremy Pike and LeeBoy. You are again encouraged to spread the word about this year’s festival on the Cabot Trail and share with friends on Facebook and invite your family and friends. This is a true player’s festival with lots of ways to participate including open mics, workshops, jams, and live performances.

The “acoustic” focus again this year will be showcasing the many local amateur and professional musicians across the Maritimes who choose to play music from a variety of genres including folk, bluegrass, roots, country, blues and original on acoustic instruments.

You are encouraged to invite your family to this summer event as well as promoting the festival by sharing with your friends on Facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/cabottrailacousticfestival
